Congratulations to Chris Fossitt from California, Kentucky on winning the first ever “Big Buck Contest.” The contest was a huge success, with 46 participants for the inaugural year. Chris was the winner of a Savage .270 hunting rifle sponsored by Log A Load For Kids, together with Patterson Chip of Barbourville, Kentucky. Chris’s buck scored 162-5/8 on the Boone and Crocket scale and was taken with a bow in Campbell County.
Chris was so appreciative of winning the rifle that he donated $100 back to Log A Load For Kids. Thank you, Chris, for supporting this worthwhile program!
